What is ASODAA? Our history

For businesses and importers

The customs broker in 3 key points

We are licensed individuals, not companies.

Who is a customs broker?

An individual authorized by the Salvadoran State to represent you or your company in your foreign trade operations before the General Directorate of Customs (DGA).

What a customs broker is not

Not a border officer, an unlicensed runner at the border, or an employee of the General Directorate of Customs. Nor is it a courier or a cargo deconsolidator: even when those companies offer the service, customs clearance is always carried out by a customs broker.

What can a customs broker do for you?

Clears your imports and exports, advises you on what can be imported or exported, how the cargo must be shipped and how much you will pay in duties and taxes. Customs brokers are also jointly liable, in good faith, for your foreign trade operation.

Do you know what a customs broker does?

We explain it in under two minutes (video in Spanish).
